The final piece immediately caught my attention, and only after a while I noticed a few things that I have to comment on now: It's the repetitiveness of the tiny lightbulbs and the patterns of smoke. I wouldn't say they're overly done (like another critic said), but you did use the same effect too often. Most noticeable are the streaks on the bulbs. Add in some variation and you're gold.
As for the rest, I do like it a lot. Placement of the bulbs (including the big one) and smoke is spot on, and there's also a lot of depth.
One final note: add some filmgrain, just a bit, and I bet it would look even more real (and thus surreal).
i truly do like this work, the pattern makes for a neat effect and i find it interesting how there are smaller light bulbs within and around the larger one. the smokey effect makes the veiwer wonder what the artist was thinking when applying it. truly i belive the person who did the critique before me was unfair, it might not be fit for a world famous muesum but for a first shot they did better then i could ever hope to be after doing it a million times. hope that you do more pics like this one and hopefully i will be able to critique another one of you pictures.
